Default Really...I think you're the first I've heard that has had 'R' CPs blown.

How many miles were on them?

Default Roughly 10k

I've been having some on and off start up issues lately so I'm hoping this was the culprit

Default Ahh. I think Roman had an issue with the 'R's related to starting or something like that.

Not 100% sure but something like that I know he went from 'R' CPs to the Hitachi 'E's then back to 'R's.

Default My dealer charges ~$56 (tax included) for CP's

I guess that was their padding. Speaking of padding: I went to another dealer last week to get some belly pan screws. The parts attendant told me they were $4.60 each. My response was "Holy crap," so he immediately said "I can sell them to you for $3.00 each." So I said I'd take 3 of them. I still think it's a ripoff, but wasn't going to argue since all efforts to find any at AZ, Prep Boys, or the like had failed. He might not have been so gracious at a later date either. Of course even $4.60 per screw isn't going to break me, it's just the principle of the matter.

Default Yeah! I had to stop and get one last week...

I was like $4.50? Are you out of your frigging mind? Alas, I needed it and no one carries those things

Default Yeah I think that was it

I've had significantly less issues then when I ran the L's but oh well. I'm sure my newfound horsepower has something to do with it ;-)

Default Thank you all for the great, concise answers!

I'm going to raise a few other issues that have been taking place with the car, so I might as well try and group it all under the one deductible. I do think that I may pick up a spare coil pack or two, however...

Sadly, I think this is going to be our last Audi. Have enjoyed a few of them over the past few years, but I'm getting to the point where I want something a little less maintenance.

Default We should file a class action suit against AoA for monopolizing belly pan screw sales

......everyone else is doing it. We should do it pro se!
