Suspension problem?

Suspension problem?
Intermittently when going over bumps I hear a clunk....it sounds like in the rear...I thought it was just my toolbox banging around, but it was'nt. I have a 99 A4 1.8T, and just turned 60k, my struts seem to be in good shape....any Ideas?

Check the clips / bolts that hold the hat shelf in place.
Also, check to see if your spare tire has wiggled loose.
Does your car appear to sit level? Which side is the sound coming from? Something could be stuck in your wheel well, too (if you're in a cold climate a chunk of ice - or something)
