Squeaky Clutch UPDATE: New slave cylinder
My 1.8T is in the shop today for a leaky W/S washer leak. I mentioned the squeaky clutch. They're holding her overnight while waiting for a new slave cylinder. What this has to do with the squeak I don't know.
I'm in a rental 98 Jeep Cherokee which bounces down the highway and darts everywhich way. For grins I kicked it into 4WD in the parking lot and was shocked to find out that I was unable to turn into a parking space smoothly. I think it has something to do with the rear axels locking and not allowing the outside wheels to turn faster than the inside ones. No wonder you always see SUVs in the ditches after a good snow.
David
