Whining Noise When Revs Increase
Hello, this is my first post on AudiWorld (sorry if posting in the wrong place). I have an Audi A4 B5 Quattro, and there is this wining noise present at all times after the engine has started. It's getting on my nerves..
The noise changes pitch when I rev the engine and can't hear it over 3.5krevs probably because of engine noise. My mechanic said it is probably the power steering pump, but would that noise increase when the revs increase? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
