What do I have to do to get a new emissions sticker? Mine is good till next year so I don't need a new inspection and can't anyway. CT is not doing it anymore. So do I have to go to DMV and get a new one? What is the process involved?

dont think you'll have to do anything. They should be able to heat it up, peel it, and put it on the new windshield. Thats what they did for me anyway.

where in CT are you? have we met? CT/NY audigroup?

I am sure we have not met. I have tried to sent multiple emails to add my name to the group but I keep getting blown off by whoever is running it. So I said the hell with it.

I don't specifically recall your emails, but I believe that you sent them.

On the <a href="http://ctny.audiworld.com/join">CT/NY Join Page</a>, you need to do 2 things; email me and sign up on Yahoo.

Then, when I get notified that someone is trying to sign up for the group, I check to see if they sent me email with the info. If they did, I approve it - end of story. Often times I get all sorts of random people that try to join, for whatever reason. I don't want to subject the normal users of the email group to people that are going to cause a ruckus. So, I ask for that email. It's a minor little thing, but it helps filter out those that aren't seriously interested. So, if someone trys to sign up through yahoo without the email, I let them sit in "pending" status for like 2 months time, during which they could send me the info. Then I deny them at that point to keep the pending memeber section tidy. When they get denied, a message gets sent to them telling them why, and if they did have a serious interest what to do to successfully subscribe.

Now, if you had emailed me, but not tried to sign up on the YahooGroups, well then I didn't have anything to approve. Also please be sure that the email addresses match (or at least tell me otherwise) so I know to associate your email with a certain YahooGroup person to approve.

I'm looking at the "pending member" list right now and don't see anything that matches your email address here.

Please sign up at the YahooGroups site linked from the Join page above, and I'll approve you.
