Default What kind of gas mileage do you 1.8t owners get?
I have a 2001 1.8tqms, totally stock with 50k miles and I just changed the oil if that matters. I get about 21-23 mpg when driving 75% on the freeway. I usually drive about 65-72 mph, almost always using cruise control when on the freeway longer than 10 minutes. After searching the forums, it seems like some 1.8 owners are getting much more than me. What do you guys think? Could there be something wrong or am I imagining it.

Default with the driving you do
i would get abotu 30mpg...

i average 24-25 city and 30+ highway

try runnin a fuel system cleaner once through your car

Stock: 360~380/tank. Now with GIAC: 300~320/tank

18/26mpg i used to get 28-30 so i think its time to get my car serviced...

I get between 25&29 mpg, mixed hwy/city. It's worse in the winter, fuel additives I think

Mixed driving: hilly streets and highways, Calif. traffic and gas, always average 22.8 mpg.

Or is this one of the Differences between APR and GIAC?
