Default I'm throwing the P1136 "system too lean code"

My check engine light came on about a month ago then after 4 days it went off. I had someone vag my car anyways and it showed two fault codes, P1136 and P1559. Now my check engine light is back on and I'm assuming it's the P1136 code. What could be causing this on an AEB engine? From what I searched it seems a vacuum leak can cause this or an oxygen sensor. What oxygen sensor is this? Thanks!

Default 1. Check all vac lines for leaks

2. If all lines are good, order a rebuilt MAF from PureMS for $99.

3. Replace front O2 sensors.

My lean code was solved by replacing my MAF.

Default Pre-cat sensor is easy as pie to replace and cheap too for a '97

Umm, doesn't change on any of the L4 engines... There's one pre-cat and one post cat.

Default The front sensor is here, right?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/19986/cat.jpg"></center><p>And where exactly is the MAF located? I've read it's a really easy job.

That is the pre-cat sensor and the MAF is located in the air intake.

Default Just ordered the pre-cat sensor and a rebuilt MAF and my check engine light goes off

I'm sure it will come back on so its not a bad idea to replace those two things.
