Default Well, I'm making progress already...

Got the front end into service position already, drive belts removed, and fan wheel pulled. Think I'm at 90 minutes so far in time, majority of that spent fighting that stupid bumper.

Need to go pickup a couple sockets tomorrow to replace ones I either don't have or lost. Other then that, this is been rather easy and straight forward. To think a year ago I had to have help doing this.

My fan wheel broke years ago and has been left like this since, which includes two trips to Colorado including the mountains, and daily driving. The fan clutch spins with a little resistance, but nothing I consider substantial.

Pictures of damaged parts to come at some point. Parts don't get here until Wednesday.

Did you use the bumper bolts to hold it in the service position?

Default .....

No...

*Hangs head in shame*

Well, I've reattached the top part with two screws to hold it up while I'm not working on it.
