VVME is garbage...
Here's the deal:
I bought a 5000k kit a little over a month ago.
Installed it, everything looks fine.
About a week later I noticed one of the beams was messed up. I pulled the bulb, to find the base of the bulb melted/warped.
No problem, I e-mail them and for $20 they send me a new bulb (not a whole kit) - this time it has a metal base, and it fixed the issue.
Another week goes by...other side beam gets messed up.
I write them an e-mail and pay them $25 this time to replace it (it sounded like they were going to send me a whole new kit)
2 weeks after that they finally ship (they were holding off for a long time) I get the bulb today (not a whole kit) - it has a plastic base...not metal.
i install the bulb...it lights up green, then turns a bright yellow.
they sent me a 3000k bulb.........it's labeled 5000k all over though.
I'm pretty much going to cut my losses at this point, I wouldn't recommend them though...maybe DDM?

Weird...
I bought the 4300K, 8000K, 10000K H7 kits and a 4300K H4 kit from them, and they all had metal bases.
Currently just using the 8000K H7 and the 4300K H4 now... Put 'em in last fall. Seem to be holding up fine.
