timing belt covered under aftermarket wear and tear warranty?
Since my dealer is recommending the TB be replaced at the 60k mark, and the manual suggest it is not due until 90k, do you think it's possible an aftermarket warranty (getting it from warranty wearhouse) will be willing to pick up the tab for it under their wear and tear policy?
Has anyone here ever tried this before?
To me it would seem reasonable if the dealer concludes the belt is worn but still not schedualed yet as maintanance.
Worth a try you think? Think the Audi dealer might be willing to work with them on something like this?
