Time to tune or sell?

Time to tune or sell?
I have a 99.5 2.8 a4 with close to 80K. It has been through one major crash ( ex DD madness) but is otherwise in good shape and drives well. The question is should I sell it and try and get my hands on a 2000-2002 S4 or should I go the PES supercharger route and upgrade suspention, clutch brakes etc.
My major concern is that 80K is too much and a supercharger would blow the engine sooner or later
anyone here run a PES Supercharger with high milage?
Thanks for your input

well there is lots to consider....
if you were to go S4 route in my area they are going for $28k-$30k for 30-50K in mileage. Now you know that the turbos are eventually going to go out on you...which at the dealer is a 7500-7600 dollar repair. Or you do the K04 upgrade for that price...maybe you find one under warranty. Guess it depends on the mileage...but the turbo will go out eventually.
the G2 will get you 295CHP...that ain't to shabby.
but your at 5K there.
clutch installed another 1K.
suspension 1-2K
brakes $1300 and up
what about exhaust?
so you can do 8-10K in damage that way too...
how much would you owe if you bought an S4. is your car paid for already?
I wouldn't worry about the miles on the ride some people here have gone APR SIII on 70+K on their cars without problems....so I really wouldn't be concerned their. It just comes down to dollars.
I'm in the same boat, not that my car has been in an accident...but either I want to sell my car and get an S4...but since decided to get a 350z...since manual S4 with 30K in miles are hard to find in chicago (you can find an auto all day long)...but it was that or upgrade my car to the ATP GT28RS and do a clutch. But my car has 67K on it and I am looking for something with lower miles on it...like in the 10-20K range.

yes and then sooner or later you would be investing or using a warranty on the turbos...
so that would bump up that used S4. it may or may not be something you want to deal with. i had a friend just get his done under warranty which was 7500 bucks...or AWE RS4 Kit if you wanted to go outta pocket. but your car might be solid after all those upgrades...where as you only have a stock s4 to begin with. food for that anyways...........

$14K...no. Private Party KBB=$11K...less depending on the crash.
it is at best worth $11K. And the major crash you mentioned could make it worth much less. Mods do not hold extra value on the sale unless an enthusiast will pay more for them. Yet, most people try to pay a bit under KBB value.
