latch kit meaning you can use the base harness instead of the car seat belts? Post pics. I'd like to install that in my A4 if available.
We currently use a Recaro for our 8 month old because he's too large for the removable seats (almost 23lbs, 30in). The nice thing with the Recaro is it's despite it’s bulkiness, it has quick release latches for cars equipped with the baby latches. So it’s faster to transfer from car to car than a base like you have.
They grow fast. Enjoy every moment :-)

Heh! He's a cute little guy, almost a "Zoolander" pose. ;-)

you don't need any foam under the base at the L of the seat? did you have it inspected at a fire/police department?

No, that base is adjustable to raise and lower it as needed.

Yes, the L.A.T.C.H. system that came out a few year ago.

ZAW-269-004 and ZAW-269-005 are the PNs for the kits, left and right. They disappeared for awhile, then showed back up not too long ago. $25 shipped for both.

Where did you order those L.A.T.C.H kit? I have a little bugger on the way in October and would like to look into getting this for my A4. I haven't gotten the infant seat yet, got a Recaro seat already for when we switch to forward facing and a little bigger seat but the recaro works with latch and that seems to be the best option for it.

Perfect timing. I just started researching for all this baby stuff. Mine is on the way in August. So where did you say you got these again? I would appreciate a link thanks.
