I'm just going to leave it at this: You have no idea what you're talking about
Have you ever driven a car for an extended period with ecodes at night? Do have glare issues with on coming traffic that can make your headlights seem dimmer then they actually are? How about reducing glare for other driver's and making their night time driving easier too? How about when you're out in the middle of nowhere and have no ambient light to help illuminate the road?
What about having more light on the road and objects during bad weather or when the road is wet and reflecting most of your car's light elsewhere?
You apparently have never driven an A4 with the two piece headlights. It's like driving with two flashlights and there were points when the road was so wet, I couldn't even see where my light was hitting.
And before you get all high and mighty about driving in "unsafe" conditions, all of the above has applied to me several times when I was already on the road and got caught by storms that were not avoidable.
And as for my car's handling, it has never left me in a situation where I felt it was a safety factor in avoiding an crash.
So shut up or put up.

"...two piece headlights. It's like driving with two flashlights..." QFT
my 12v is rockin' out on Silverstars and it still sucks. Only a matter of time before those overhyped, overpriced bulbs go out too. I'd slot in my 1-pieces off the 1.8T + vvme, but I don't have the cash for ecodes right now.

It really was. It was really bad when I was in Colorado driving in the mountains
and could barely see around a corner.
No, driving with high beams was not an options because of oncoming traffic.

See, you really don't konw what you're talking about.. go test drive a car with the old..
2 piece lights, at night. Then come back and tell Nate he wasted money. The first thing I did on my A4 was put on E-code 1 piece lights. No, I didn't get HIDs, but still..
