Default sunroof help

So my sunroof has become stuck open, what initially happened is it got the shade part sucked inbetween the roof fabric and the glass, i pulled that out, now it seems the left side of the track is off since it wont close evenly and the left side can be shifted by hand a bit. Also when I try to close the roof via the switch I just hear a clicking sound from up near the motor and it zips back open. Ive got the entire thing tracks and all taken off, but I cannot get the glass part seperated to see if something is obstructing the path or if a pulley wire has snapped or something, totally lost on my next move, any advice is appreciated...thanks

Default Update...

Got the roof to close but the left side is now sticking up more than the right, kind of like the setting where you can just open it at an angle but only at the left side(LEFT SIDE LOOKING FROM REAR OF THE CAR), also looking at the track, the left side of the glass sits lower in the back when its open. like the black mechanism that does the actual sliding is lower than the other side...

Default there are 2 cables that looks like springs but with out tension..

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/32880/piecies.jpg"></center><p>
that is attached each side of the sunroof and the motor has a gear that pulls or pushes the cable when opening or closing the sunroof.. you must have skiped a few teeth on one side of the cable which is that click click sound you heard the gear slipping..how i fixed that was remove the motor and then with a small philips screwdriver or punch awl move the front or back parts of the spot where the motor gear fits into the frame.. i dont recall wether the front is the right or left side.. but move it just alittle bit one way or the other and you will have to fiddle with it.. until its perfictly squared then put the motor back and hopefully you didnt strip the gear .. and hopefully none of the guides that go down the rail are broken either otherwise its time to remove the headliner and take the whole sunroof assembly out the trunk. been there done that a couple times.. fun fun..
pic is of all the pieces i pulled out of my sunroof that were broken..

Default i did a write-up on replacing the sunroof guides which might help...

a link in my sig will give you the pdf. give it a read. lots can break inside there to jam things up as odelay showed. you might want to pull it apart and see what is broken. good luck.
