Default state sales tax help

Which states do not collect sales tax on cars? My state collects 6%, which is pretty hefty amount on a new A4.

Default You can't avoid it.....

....you'll pay the tax in the state you reside in regardless of where you purchase the car. There is no escaping the tax.

New hampshire has no sales tax...you'll need an address to register your car there though

Default but, you pay a high registration fee

Default The fee is not that high and other states charge the similar fee, but you must have a NH address.

Some states try to crack down on people have different state license plate. My parent live in NH, but I still register in MA just to avoid the hassles.
