Default Some turbo/fabrication stuffs

Had a local guy do some welding work for me a couple days ago. He did a great job, though it looks like I'm just a bit short..

If I pull the CAT as hard as I can to the turbo it just barely connects.. I'm guessing I could bend the hanger a bit, or loosen the hanger bolt pull then tighten it back up for some more play.. Just not sure if it's too tight, when forced like that?

shhhhuushh you, Doug. =)

Keep in mind that everything gets longer when HaWt. LOL. Ok Ok OK I'll not go there............ but fur cereal's it will lengthen when hot. I would loosen the mount(s) a little, or bend the hangers etc and pull it ahead a hair.

You'll be fine.

Yay for new turbo! Did you get the WG bracket figured yet?

Is the welding Tom's work?

LAWL. you made a fenneh! Yeah, I think it will work out. Never used a Vband, so I'm not sure how much gap is ok when tightening the Vband clamp down. I guess I can just make sure to loosen up the hanger, pull towards the turbo and really tighten up that vband good, then tighten the hanger back up.

Nope not Tom's work. He would have but he has been preparing for a huge Porsche show with Rennline. This is the guy that did JOE JOE's car.

The WG issue is still yet to be fixed.. I have the parts picked out with ATP just a matte of ordering.. at this point overnight! boo! Universal mount and an aluminum 14psi WG.

Awesome. Everything looks great, hope it works out and you get it to fit. Dont forget i will expand when hot so the gap might be filled.

How are things going with the wastegate?

Was that the infamous TomRitt's work?

Hope its running soon. : )

Smmeear a little grease on the V-Band when you instal it so it'll tighten up enough and correctly.
