some christmas trouble
98 audi a4 2.8 quattro. automatic. 165k miles. brand new timing belt(well 3k old). In the cabin i smell like burnt oil. not sure what is causing this.
Then today i start my car and it is rumbling pretty aggressively. Rumbles hardcore at the high idle( cold idle, whatever you want to call it).Threw a CEL(Check Engine Light) When the idle settled the engine was smooth as can be. Drove away and drove fine. Filled her up with gas(car was turned off, and was at full operating temperature when i turned it off) turned the car on and she fired right up silky smooth. What is happening to my baby? She has to last me another 100k!!
