Default If you have something to say , just spit it out.

Is that why you drift to the left when you walk?

Default You know what they say - small mirror small........

Actually Jason is the one with the correct answer. That was what was given by my salesman and in the postings on the forum at the time.

Default yes. it's also why...

my left tires wear out quicker.

come to think of it, that explains the nasty hooks off the tee.

it all makes sense now.

Default I think its due to smaller streets in europe. AUDI is not the only euro car with one smaller mirrors

So thats probably the case.

Default You of all people should know why with the narrow streets where you live..

Look down the side of the car. Notice anything? That's right, it doesn't protrude any farther than the body of the car. What does that mean? It means that you don't clip it off if you get to close to a parked car, or a wall or whatever.

Oh, and if you feel bad with your nice Audi having a stumpy mirror, imagine how all of the older Mercedes Benz driver feel!!! (since the 2 gernerations ago E class started that 'trend')

Default I'd clip off a few before I put that wussy mirror on...

I can handle the extra 3'' pertrusion. I may have to get those M3 looking mirrors.
