So I am officially at the five year mark of ownership of my A4
I've driven nearly 64,000 miles since I bought it, traveled across the country, drove it on my wedding day, and in less then a month, transport my first born home in it. A very humbling experience I think considering I could not have imagined any of this happening when I first bought it.
This car has seen me through my best and worst of times. Only been in one minor accident and no one was even in the car. It has never failed me, left me stranded, or left me feeling like I was unsafe. Having seen many horrific crashes on the forum over the years, I would want to be in no other car should the same ever happen to me.
My pipe dream would be to keep the car long enough and running well enough for my son to learn in it and have it be his own car. I figure by that time the will have around 390,000 miles on it. I see no reason for it not make it unless the body rusts away.
However, I look forward to another five years and 64,000 miles.

She looks so fresh and clean..unlike mine..
Im digging the Vogtland/Bilstein setup, its sportier yet conservative enough for daily driving I assume... I WANT THAT!
Glad to hear youre still loving the B5, I am too
P.S your paint looks flawless

It's actually very flawed from three separate eggings, parking lot wars, 13 years of rock chipping
HOWEVER, there is not one speck of dust in the paint work. That much is for certain.
It's a car though and for the most part, I don't fret over things like that. No point.<ul><li><a href="http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/FastA4Turbo/audi/IMG0026.jpg">Super-large picture of my car a few years ago</a></li></ul>
