Default RSX Type-S vs A4 QM 1.8T GIAC 1.0 bar

I have a co-worker who have an Accura RSX Type-S and he would like to drag with me. Do someone ever do a run with it ??

What is the performance of an RSX: 0-60, top speed, 60-100, etc ??

Thanks

Patrick

Ps: both cars are Canadian Specs

Default I test drove an RSX Type S the other week...

they make a LOT of noise, but they don't have a lot of get up and go. IMHO, you might have a slight edge to 60, and you'll have a huge edge to 100.

Default it's been a long time since you drove a 1.8 :)

It has no get up and go either.

The quarter mile would be a close race between the two.

Default It'll be tight. I've won and lost to that car in my APR 1.0 bar. I couldn't tell if...

the one that I lost to had any modifications. He seemed kind of loud, but those things are typically noisy at high RPMs. I didn't launch great, so it may have just been a matter of him getting a good jump.

Default

Never drop the oem clutch, launching a chipped a4 on the oem clutch takes some practice

Default Not from 0-60, but at highway speeds the 1.8T has a lot of torque that the

RSX doesn't have. I stand by what I said.
