RS4 Brake Upgrade... POSSIBLE?
#11
I had this setup on my 1.8tQ they were a great upgrade. Ok for the upgrade you may need the drive shafts and if your car is quattro you will have to swap the gearbox flages to FWD.

Yes one did. Now the thing you should ask is why is it such a popular swap here in the UK for the S4 people! Because they work its a cheap upgrade and they are cheap to keep running. Oh one more thing these brakes where designed to stop RS4's and stopping a 1.8t with only a fraction of the weight of the RS4 engine up front make this a worth while upgrade from standard brakes.

Well, when i said "what would i need", it was only to simplify things because the setup was for my friends B5. He hasnŽt tested them yet because the car is still in his garage waiting for some Coils that should arrive this week from Germany... iŽll keep this topic updated.
Thanks again.

I remember when that happened. Pretty harsh stuff, it was beautiful car.
neljoe: You have an Audi Nav correct? What are the specifications of that system? Someone on QW was asking about factory Nav systems in our B5s.
