removing bumper cover 98' A4
can anyone offer tips/write ups on taking off the rear bumper cover? I am looking to install a 1 1/4" hitch to my 2.8 A4 and it looks like the bumper cover needs to come off. suggestions? thanks!

this is really simple
-lift up the carpet in the trunk.
-remove the bolts (2 hex bolts ea. side) that are holding the anchor hooks down closest to the trunk lid.
-remove bolts, hooks, etc.
-remove 1 torx screw from the rear wheel well liners on each side by the rear of the wheel
-from the rear of the car, push the whole bumper assy. forward towards the from of the car.
-on each side of the car, remove the bumper by pulling the top out/down and the bottom up/out (you'll know when it's off the bracket)
-slide the whole bumper back off the bummper supports.
-remove the bolts (2 hex bolts ea. side) that are holding the anchor hooks down closest to the trunk lid.
