Default Rear end roaring - brakes?

I have a constant 'roar' coming from the rear end - both rear wheel bearings were changes within the last year, and the sound doesn't go away when I put my other set of wheels on.

The pads and rotors have about 27k on them. There is no significant wear on the pads, but the rotors have developed a slight lip. (Autozone pads and rotors).

Is it time for a full pad and rotor change in the rear again?

Default Sounds like the wheel bearings again

The rear ones go all the time on these cars for some reason...

Does the sound get quieter when you turn the car left or right a bit at speed?

Default I was worried about that. I have enough OEM fluid to do the job, but I couldn't get the

filler cap off. I got my hex socket in there, but it wouldn't budge, and I believe it rounded out slightly. Guess I'll have to deal with it soon, eh. I've read other threads on how to get it removed, so, guess I'll do some digging.

Default Each time my bearings have gone there hasn't been any change in

the sound based on load. So I wouldn't rule out the bearings.

I heard about the crappy Optimol bearings. I don't think I have those. Unless that's what ECS sells
