Default smartass :)

I think I will re locate the arm to the inside. My angled bit wont even fit. And I really don't want to pay a machinist $100 to give me under 2 inches.

Looks like cut, weld to me.

fyi, drilling more than one hole might be smart.

Sorry, I don't get it. Why not remove the pin, slide the assembly out and DRILL THE FVCK OUT OF IT?

Default yeah would be early tomorow morning.. leaving here around 5:30 am

puts us in Sharon around 6:45?

if we are driving in to your house we would have to leave VERY early. If you want a rude wake up you could meet us at the gas station/store in Sharon for some coffee and a hand off?

also, do you have any steel hanging around? I figure we should keep the front arm on just in case. We just need to replicate it inside, drill some holes, weld and the options are wide open then

I can hit up Home dept for some steep pieces if you want.

Cheers,
Joel

Default Tell you what, if you can be in Quechee at around 6am, that'll work.

I'm chasing in the morning. Might be fun for you to see the balloon go up, eh?

Either way, come up and drop it off at the house. Just leave it outside the garage. I'll drill holes, and weld on a new tab on the back side.

Default awesome I'll call you later on today..

I would love to see one go up, but we will be on a tight time line. Have to be in BOS for a seminar in the am.

Worst comes to worst we leave here 30 min early and I drop them off outside your door. Thanks Kris! If you need some steel pieces just let me know.

Cheers,
Joel

Default Just drill at an angle with a smaller bit after you center punch it. When done, place the drill on

the other side to take the same amount of metal out. Use a round file (or the correct diameter drill bit) with a pliers or vise grip at the correct angle to clean up the hole. Easy stuff I drilled mine too but I had a narrow drill :P
