Default Ok thinkers out there.. How would you suggest drilling this...

just as I was typing this I remembered I had an angled attachment for the drill.. might work


Long story short, these brackets sit WAY far back. And another inch or two could help drastically for me.

I did the same when I had my Recaro. Just hand drill new hole.

Can't remove, drill and replace? Otherwise, Id use whats in that link or something similar

We could cut them off and drill and we-weld, or weld them on the other side....

Default yeah had a brain fart.. as mentioned in my post.. I might have one.

checking right now if I can re locate the arm to the inside of the bracket, so it sits over the factory pin location. this way I have an even range of movement. and not 3 feet back only.

Default It would work mounting the arm on the inside..

it can slide up and over with room to spare. When you down to do some cuttin' and weldin'
