Default Now this is just wrong...

"We love the sleek styling of the [B5] A4 sedan, and while the wagon still carries the A4's athletic lines, the stigma of being a wagon makes it less attractive. Default I have to agree... I don't really understand the Avant-thing. Hatches... Maybe. It took me

a while to warm up to them, though. I still only think flat-backs work on short cars, or SUVs.

Default The B5 Avant is much better looking than the sedan.

I will probably get flamed for stating an opinion. But that is just what it is.... an opinion....and so is yours.

Default Having a sedan and Avant is the best of both B5 worlds and I go back and forth

on what one looks better. Bottom line is that the Avant is just so much more functional day to day. Plus I think it is fun getting crap from friends/coworkers/haters who think men shouldn't drive wagons....

My wife won't drive it mostly because of the wagon/minivan stigma...she *thinks* that she is the anit-soccer mom....LOL....

Default I like them both. At first I wasnt really attracted to the Avant but its been growing on me.

I would really like to have a 99.5+, Silver/Black, 2.8L 30V, SC'd, sport, manual Avant. Along with my sedan of course.

Default plus the wagon lets ppl know you are comfortable with your own masculinity/femininity =)

Also, when I'm out of coffee travel mugs I have no issues grabbing one of my wife's pink ones. Makes my cummins driving coworkers crazy that I do that....they always go he drives a station wagon what do you expect....
