Does any one know what are the best speakers to replace on a 98 A4 with out rewiring to much.

Stock (OEM). Try a scrap yard or used parts house. Most replacements will be more work to fit the speaker than the wiring work. So if you want no hassle re and re? Stick with OEM.

I used Infinity 4022i for the front, cause they're cheap. I have a 2001 non-Bose system. I had to do a little surgery with a Dremel, since they have a 4-hole bracket whereas the stock speakers have a 3-hole brakcet, but no rewiring.

Could still be Bose.

What does it say when you turn the radio on? If the concert is configured to Bose it will display BOSE.

I'd stick with stock. The stock sound system is amplified/equalized specifically for the stock speakers. Unless of course you are looking to replace the stock system, in that case you're going to be happier rewiring with a new head unit.
