My weekend modz:
Ok so I officially did do the allroad bumper idea, to be now known as the ScratchRob13 look (lol):

Basically, clean the bumper, apply plastic primer, sit 20 minutes, and then apply 4 cans of plastidip, in light coats. I did the first three coats with one can, then did half a can per coat, until I had used up 4 cans. Mounted my euro plate, and threw it on the car to give it an allroad look. Cheaper than going to paint, and stupidly easy to do. Plus the look has grown on me. What do you all think?

Also built a real bracket for my fmic, unfortunatly I centered it off the AC condensor, not the radiator (n00b move)... So when the bumper is on it is not perfectly centered. Oh well, something to fix on another day.

Oh and where I park, I get to drive by this little beauty... neglected this time of year though (dirty!). Can't believe the owner doesn't have a cover.

a thin coat will. But how he did it will last. I did the same to the grill on my 2nd Gen 4Runner...
and it lasted for years and never one rock chip, etc.....probably still lasting someplace.
