Default my snub install

Snub mount: Apikol
Stuff that I broke during installation: lower right side grille, bracket for tip transmission cooler, air intake hose. (all glued/zip tied back together now)
AAA tow truck needed: 1 (2.5 hr wait)
Front end remove/reinstall: twice
money spent on coolant: $35

I got the snub mount installed over the weekend, and broke the stuff mentioned above during the process of putting the front end into service position. Car drove fine for a day until it popped the lower radiator hose 5 mile away from home and pissed all of my 2 week old $25 Ford G05 all over the road.

Default LOL, always the case isn't it? I've learned to expect and prevent it by going slow and

backing off when I get tired. I just finished jimming my HL washers back together after I broke the right side one when taking the bumper off last week

Jeez... You know you don't need to get your car in service position for that?

Default Don't feel bad, though. I completely fuxored my AC system while doing the strut tower bar install...

And once, I had to have my car towed to two different shops b/c my car wouldn't start b/c I clipped the wrong wire in the ECU harness for my turbo timer. Paid $300+ for the shop to *tape* the wire back together. Expensive mistakes...

FWIW the clunk I had in my 5MT DT when up/down shifting was the rear differential mounts....

Default besides very slight increase in noise/vib when idling

...not really.

Things that I've done to my drive train that might affect the result: ghetto silicone rear diff mount mod, Some DIY transmission stabilizer hack(not unlike chase-bar).

Default did you end up doing the motor mounts? result?

I have the same problem with drivetrain clunk, and have both snub and motor mounts ready to be installed... guess I'll do the motor mounts first...
