I have a HFC that is just about the stock diameter on both ends, just a lot smaller core and you can see through it(the light that is.) I am going to buy the PES t28 kit and have heard some recomendations for others to get a really big HFC. I have also heard that the gt25 turbo, t3, and t4 will fit the PES manifold. If they do infact fit, which one would be the best to get? The A4 is not the daily driver but turbo lag is lot looked at kindly in my eyes. I also have a V1 Borla which is only 2.25". I really, really like the sound of the V1 so unless it is really highly recomended that I change it then I would like to keep it and as for the HFC it is just the fact that I already have it and would be nice just to be able to put it on. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!

Well, what do you want from the turbo?
You can get more power out of bigger turbo, but the bigger the turbo the longer it takes to spool. The GT25 and T28 are both pretty small turbos, so you won't have too much trouble spooling them up. You can get a bit more out of the T28, since it is a little bigger. If possible, get a turbo with a ball bearing because it will it spool up faster. The T4 is just too big.
