Major car problems!!! Please Help!
I was driving down the highway tonight and out of nowhere the battery hazard light came on. I tried to turn off the road and when I did I noticed my power steering was out and I could barely turn the wheel.
Anyone know WTF is going on?

If the belt didnt break, I'll bet the belt tensioner did...
Exact same thing happened to me earlier this summer...took me about 1.5h to pull the bumper, put the front in service position, change part and re-assemble. That was on a 2.8 30v. I don't know what its like on a 1.8, maybe theres more clearance .

If it is the belt or tensioner...It also drives the water pump...
That means no coolant going through the engine...it will heat up really quickly and thats not a good thing. When mine went, i was 3-4min drive away from my buddys place and my temp was WAY up by the time I got there to fix it.
