Default Looking for tips on selling a highly modified B5 A4

This weekend I plan to list my 98.5 A4 for sale. I'm looking for tips from people who have had success selling a highly modded A4, capitalizing on spent dollars.

Basics of the car are 113k miles, APR Stage 3+ w/ full exhaust/high flow cat/APR IC, Statis street sport, Spec Stage 2+ clutch w/lwfw, S4 wheels, S4 bumper, and a few low dollar custom mods like stereo, custom boost guage, ss, and what not. I still have almost all OEM parts to go with the car.

Asthetics, the car has dings and dents on quarter panels that are noticeable. Overall, it's a strong, very low maintenance, personally well maintained vehicle. ZERO problems with the car since installing the S3+ kit, 18K miles ago, and I hate to see it go since it's been so fun, but have opted for a newer, somewhat more family oriented business ride.

If there's anyone out there with experiences selling anything similar...good or bad, I'd welcome tips.

KBB lists private party at 6.5k. What's a fair asking price that could get it sold quickly? Besides the AW classifieds, where should it go?

Many thanks!

what are you looking to get for it (be realistic please?) you mentioned that the kbb lists it at 6.5K, so the question is how much higher than that do you expect to fetch for her?

Based on the difference between the two prices, it will be more evident if demodding her is worth the time (or not as you say).

I'd like to get as much as I can for a price that would probably go quick. That's why I ask.

Default How much you ask and want to get for it depends on how fast you want to sell...

If you have time, I'd probably start at 10K and see what happens and slowly bring it down. Though the longer you wait (within reason) the more chance you will have of someone willing to spend the money for what you have.

Best way to get as much as you can and sell it fast would be to de-mod and part out.

FWIW, I sold a K03 APR chiped 98.5 w/164K miles Koni/intrax adjustable, 18's, Borla exhaust/high flow cat, EFK, and EVO BPV for 7K... And I did so in less than a month.

It's going to depend on your market and who is ready to buy...

Default many people have listed their fully modded a4 and sold it.

take some pics but 9-12k is probably the ballpark you are looking at. Overall condition being the big player.
