Instructions for removing the front pipe w/flex joint on a 99.5?
I saw some guides online on how to remove it, but they don't go into any detail about the actual process or exactly what tools were used. They also mention replacing the bolts, washer and nut.
On mine it appears there is no washer, and the nut is welded to the front cat. If it wasn't welded, I just don't see how in the world it could be put back on as 2 of 3 nuts are not even visible from the engine bay, and it seems it would be impossible to reach in there.
Is there anything in Bentley manual on how to do this?

If you have a stock cat, the net is not welded to the flange (it's just rusted to it). I have been able to undo the bolts using several extensions and a universal joint on a 3/8" drive rachet. It's pain in the ***, and you may end up needing to cut the bolts if they are seriously rusted. I belive there's an article in the tech section that says you can remove the fender liner to gain better access, but I have been able to get at them without doing that.
