How hard is a DIY Clutch on 2.8Q if I have access to a lift?

My clutch isn't slipping, but I definetly notice wear. It bothers me if I don't have a clutch that grabs hard.

How much should I expect to buy a kit for? $300?

And if it's too hard for DIY, what's the approx. labor time?

Not that hard. Just time consuming and tedious. Depending on the cluctch kit, $350 - $850

depends if you want to go stock or aftermarket.

tech articles on this website will more than help you. if you know your way around the garage and if you have proper tools, it should take you a whole day.

search will help you a lot.
