Default Threads like this don't happen in the CQ/80/90 forum.

If this forum is like high school.

The CQ/80/90 forum is like an old age home (wisdom included).

Default Agree with your point about the downward spiral

That's one of my first observations moving to the A4 world from my old 200. Used to sub to the Audifans list. People there were very helpful and I'd say the focus was a bit different. Yes, Nate and Roger gave good information. The main problem I had yesterday was getting enough clearance to pull the rear lower control arm bolt out of the subframe.

Today I've finished the other side much faster and the big difference is knowing how it all goes together and learning that I need to loosen the rear subframe bolts on both sides to get clearance. Yesterday was trying to loosen one bolt and lever down from there. That didn't work very well.

My big problem today...well the tie-rod end is rusted to the inner tie-rod. It's right now soaking with some liquid wrench (couldn't find pb blaster) and I'm considering getting a propane tank just in case. Twist the tie rod and the only thing giving is the rubber inside of it.
