Got scammed on Ebay for A4 Headlights! Any ideas?

Default Hate to say it - but paypal doesn't cover you either.

Paypal will only refund your money if they can get the funds out of the other person's account. If you've sent funds somewhere - and that person has withdrawn those funds - or forwarded them onto someone else - and they have no funds in their account, even if you are eligible for a refund - you won't get one.

It's happened to me more than once - fortunately only for small amounts.

Sorry to hear about you problems - it sucks. Keep an eye out for the lights reapperaing in another auction - and then offer to pick them up in person. You might find out where he lives...

Default Yep, sent check by mail...to a physical address in San Francisconot a PO BOX...

I also have his name and the bank and account number it was deposited into. Assuming he used a real name anyway.
