Default OK, but I've used a 5 bar fpr before

I've used a 5 bar fpr in the past and it adds about 11% fueling, but it's never caused these symptoms.

I put the 5 bar in more for safety reasons until I can upgrade my software. I'd rather run rich a little than to lean out.

Default

what made you assume that you'd lean out just by using the K04?

Default I wasn't sure what to expect...

But I was looking at AWE's kit and it showed cooler plugs (I assume) and a 5 bar fpr. Maybe I was premature. I will put the 4 bar back in, swap the N75H for another I have, and check that there are no kinks in the N75 lines. BTW, it has a new 710N DV in, not that that is a problem.

Default Maybe it's just with APRs K03 software, but these turbos run fine on OEM fueling

still, K04 software is more bettar

Default mark my words, driving around like that, you won't have a k04 for long

Not to mention, the k04's have breakin period like a clutch. Take it easy on that turbo. Also, 25psi, is over the limit. You're running the risks of over spinning that turbo. Call your local GIAC dealer and let them know you want to upgrade to the correct software. You also have other issues you need to work out. I suspect a pinched hose line somewhere.

Default Problem solved! And the winner is...

ModifiedA4

It was in fact a pinched N75 line...the one from the compressor to the N75. That's why the overboost kit didn't work. I wasn't getting enough boost to open the wastegate.

It was still spikey and surgy with the N75H, so I put the stock N75C back in and things are smooth as butta! Now I peak around 20 psi (it'll go to 22 psi under the right conditions) and settle around 15 to 17 psi.

Once the car cools down and the fuel pressure settles, I'll stick the 4 bar fpr back in.

Still, can't wait for the upgraded K04 GIAC software on Monday.

Thanks for all the help and replies.
