Default Going to hit 135,000 soon!!! But some problems...

Like most I have the control arm issue, but im waiting on Audi to hopefully replace them. But I'm also having some engine problems and i don't know if its the engine being tired from mileage or not. I don't have a boost gauge, but I feel like there's some boost irregularities. It just doesn't have that kick it used to a few thousand miles ago! I feel it especially in 1st gear... my car just feels like its 30 tons! Could it be a boost leak someplace or carbon deposits? I plan on using seafoam this weekend to see if that helps. Also could a clogged fuel filter be the case. Thanks guys!

Default Replaced with what? (brand/model/gap)

Seems like you're saying the loss of power significantly dropped shortly after installing the plugs.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the control arms. I'd say you have zero chance of Audi covering them

My car doesn't really show much boost in first gear, but maybe your turbo is going.

Default Audi just covered mine under extended warrenty, but I don't think they are covering them...

under any sort of recall. I have 60K on my 01.5 so I've just started my extended coverage.

Default MAF

My car was like that at around 95k. I replaced the MAF sensor and it got it's old kick back. Also, check out all your vacuum hoses. At 112k miles, a lot of the vacuum hoses in my car are starting to fail. After replacing them the car is running stronger than ever. Good luck!

Default Thanks for the Info!

Think Im going to replace the Vac lines, plugs, and fuel filter, then see what happens before I spend the money on a MAF! How much are they btw and isn't there a performance one? ill do a search!
