shhhh it's a Passat :P - but a B5, so it's really an A4 with a different skin.
I don't think I have the patience right now to trouble shoot with him. I might have him take it to a shop to at least confirm if at all possible it's the therm. And if it is, I might see if Tom or one of his friends wants to make a few or more hundered dollars to swap a new one in. They can tear open these cars faster than anyone I know.
