Hi Guys,

Newbie here so please help and take it easy on me. I have a 1999 A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro 5 Speed that I have had in the states since 2006. I recently moved to Canada and as part of passing the road test to import my car I need to replace my broken rear exterior door handle (passenger side).

I've found the part that I'm looking for on eBay for $20:

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience replacing this part. From what I can tell you have to remove the entire door body panel to get at it? Any ideas?

If this is something best left to a body shop just let me know, but if it's not incredibly difficult and there are step-by-step directions anywhere I'd like to do it myself.
