electrical promblems

Default electrical promblems

hello im new with here....i have a 1996 a4 and im havin problems first is my parking lights on the driver side wont go on front and back but the turn signal works fine the other is the dash lights and the lights on the climate control wonderin if someone can help me out.

You've got to give a clear description of exactly what's wrong, your post is not detailed enough.

ok this is whats goin on when i turn my lights on the headlights work the small lights on the right side work but the left doesnt but yet if i use the single they will work also the dash lights dont light up but did notice that wen i turn the lights on the trip odo shuts off.i have check for current n i do have that all the fuses are good

First check the bulbs, in case both front and rears have burned-out filiments. Next check your fuses, though I don't remember if there is one for just driver side parking lights. If there is one, and its OK, then turn the lights on and check at that fuse for 12V power. If none, problem is likely at the light switch.

Dash lights; check the brightness control ****, maybe its just turned all the way to dim. The Odo light and climate control lights are supposed to dim when the headlights are on.

ok i checked the bulbs there good.now i have the meter to check for voltage just dont remeber wich settin also checked the dimmer that wasnt it bbutb i did notice that when i turn the lights on the digital mileage turns off.yea i just bought the car its been about a week now but i love the feel of it yea also notice that they may had an after market radio but replaced the original one back

ok i have this promblem with the side markers/parking lights.fuse #23 has no current yet when i take the fuse out and test for current there is current but i put the fuse back no current what can this be cuz i cant figure it out can i get some help please
