OK I am going nuts with the new search and formatting...
I am looking to buy another ECU for my 99.5 A4
Can someone please advise what the part #s are for it?
I know there are 2-3 different N-DBW ones. I used one out of a 97 when I was chipped, dont recall the #.

The one I have now with the TAPP tune, I is a P and has a checksum error, that he says does not happen with the N box.

Can someone confirm that the N will work in a 99.5 without issue?
I would appreciate it.

557-P is the only non-chipped box you can use. If chipped, any older box up through 557-P will work.

hmmm i dont think that is !00% accurate...because i was stock for a month with a 97 (non-P) ecu, but good to know that the N will work.
