2nd. I have yet to be flashed by oncoming traffic or seen anyone reach up and...
....adjust their rearview mirror.
Coverage on the road is perfect.

Supposedly the reasoning is if you are driving on the right hand side of the road the "step" better
illuminates the signs on your side of the road. shouldn't really affect oncoming traffic.
