Default Is the DTS my only option left?

I'm still not completely satisfied with my driveline slopiness. Currently I have installed -

APR Snubmount
2.8 Engine Mounts
RS4 Tranny Mounts

I don't want to just throw the DTS on the car if it's only going to patch/hide another problem. Is replacing the rear diff mount common in our cars? I notice this weird thumping when I get slightly on/off throttle on the highway.

Default i've only seen one post about replacing the diff mount/bushings....

i notice an increase in shifting accuracy after installing the dts. it had much more of an effect than the snubby.

Default Thumping could be the rear diff mount.

Had that issue on my S4 a while ago (I could actually see where the driveshaft/diff flange was contacting the underbody).

Had the forward mount for the rear diff replaced under warranty and its held up for a while now.

Default I know it's more common for the S4 guys to replace, but you never really hear

the A4 people changing them. Either way, I'll give it a shot, sounds like the same symptoms.

Btw, I got the afpr you sent me last week. thanks again.

Default IMHO the snub mount really did next to nothing on my car...

I think it's more of a placebo affect than anything... unless your OEM snub was really that shot.

Default I did this Mod according to Snowtrooper & DAP, however it didnt' solve the problem

I've upgraded everything like you and have doubts about the DTS(think it's hiding some other problem). Im almost out of ideas, other than a DTS or a bad drive shaft.

Check this post out.

P.S. Im on the verge of just selling the car because I can't figure out what it is. Drives me nuts. Keep me posted, if you figure it out.
