DTC 16684 and 16688 coil packs? HELP!
My sister-in-law was driving to work and her 2001 A4 1.8T started to shudder and lost power, blinking CEL and limped it to work. Once there a dude checked it out, and it was drastically low on oil, (none on the dipstick according to him) but doesnt seem possible, no visable leaks etc. scanned it and got DTC 16684 and 16688. Anyways, been down this road once before, going to buy a coilpack and try it in CYL #4 and then go from there. Any other suggestions? Thanks!...Max
