Default DIY weighted stock shifter...

Cool idea, I might give this a try sometime this week. If so, I will try to do a better write up on it.

Default Lead... hi to lead poisoning.... gee thanks but um no thanks.

How about you just buy a weighted shift **** from Dr.Isotope. I was working on a shift **** a while ago... but I got sidetracked from the design onto other projects.

If you send Dr.Isotope a **** you like and give him an idea of what you want it to weigh I'm sure he can help you out.

Default AZ defying physics... More mass = more force required to move. But, momentum is what they're

looking for. I still think a shorter (like, less long) shifter is a better answer.

Default I like the stock look/feel since it doesnt freeze or burn your hand with temperature fluctuations.

I doubt the lead will soak through plastic and leather. I will see if i can dig up a dense enough substitute. I am not too scared of this causing lead poisoning, after all the fishing i have done over the years without being poisoned.... I think biting sinkers and setting up rigs is a bit more of a reason to be scared.

Default I have to put a glove over my Rob **** in the winter :)

Nothing like bare skin on a metal shifter that's been out in -10 degree temps.
