Coolant Warning Light and Chime on Every Start
2001 A4 1.8t Manual
Recently whenever I start the car, the red coolant light (looks like a thermometer - see below) comes on and is followed by 3 (unnecessarily loud) beeps.
It will typically go away after a few minutes of driving but on colder days, it will happen again after maybe 5 minutes.
Coolant level is fine.
Is this just a sensor issue? If so, which one and is there a DIY to replace it?

SO i get the coolant light, does that come on ONLY when coolant level is low or even if mixture is..
