Default Clutch replacement 1.8TQ - what else?

Getting the clutch replaced, anything else that I should do "while I'm at it"? easy replacements or PM?

Do the transmission seal replacement inside. I forgot the exact name it's in the faq. My first clutch failed cause it leaked oil all over the clutch.

I would check drive axles and any possible exhaust leaks. Check fluid levels in transmission and rear diff. Check motor mounts conditions. Since your there.

meh, if it's not leaking, don't replace it. but, it is a, if you're in there kinda thing to do. I didn't, fwiw.

well, i will see how much extra work it actually is but so far I will see about the rear main and motor mounts

hopefully the rear main is easy once the clutch is out and just take care of it as PM.

got the clutch replaced- just in time! I was skimming the rivits! replaced the output seal, a few other seals and parts "while in there", rr main, etc
car feels great! it's butter smooth and pulling well w/o slipping

my mech did a great job for about $1100 all in. very solid
