re:..
MY2k1 has 1 piece headlights, meaning you can dothe clear corner mod to her car. You can also order a set of valeo "euro" headlights to replace the ones on her car. The valeo headlight housings come clear and look very neat. Id suggest you go for those unless you feel comfotable drilling the stock ones on her car. I think they run a bit over $300 (not really sure). Check out some of the advertisers on AW for a dealer. I havent looked into headlights in a long time but you could prolly get a good deal on them at Waterfest this June. Hope this helps.

Link to DIY mod
The DIY mod is fairly straightforward - just take your time because it takes some patience. Once complete you also want to paint or buy silver bulbs for the turn signals otherwise the reflection from the bulbs will still make the corners look orange from the front.
With that said, I will likely still buy some one piece euro spec headlights later on. They look a lot better, you don't have the visible holes and the turn signal bulb is behind its own lens. If the car has xenons, then you have to buy the more expensive one piece headlights, if not it is cheaper (or some would recommend upgrading to xenons). I think awe-tuning.com has them. The most common clear corners are made by Valeo who also make the OEM ones for North America as well(though there may be other manufacturers???).

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext5.shtml</a
