changing shocks, shadetree mechanic job?
Hey I was wondering if changing the shocks on my 00 A4 is a shadetree job or should it be done at a shop? How difficult is it? Are there any special tools that I'll need?
Keep in mind that I changed out both my timing belt and water pump on the same car. Now THAT was a bitch of a job!
Thanks in advance!

spring compressor, okay questions
Yeah I figured I'd need a spring compressor. What's a "good one"? I've done shocks on other cars before but this Audi is unlike those cars. lol
thanks for the response!

Aftermarket...bilstein or Koni, OEM, the red one's (sport).
Look in the wheel and tire section of the Tech Section above. You'll find a suspension (coilover) install write up that's very information. That's what you'll need to do.
